Opportunities to explore and develop creative action through sculpture and drawing
BRUCE GERNAND is an experienced sculptor who exhibits widely and internationally. His teaching experience covers lecturing at various art colleges including the Royal Academy Schools and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design where he was Head of Sculpture for ten years. He is a qualified research supervisor and has held a Senior Research Fellowship at the University of the Arts (UAL). He is a Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors (FRBS).
Location: The spacious and well equipped sculpture studio lies in a tranquil setting of garden and wood on the Norfolk / Suffolk borders.
Versatility: choose from a selection of workshops and individually tailored sessions
For Whom: studio works provides for a wide range of ages and stages: for artists who are just starting out; for those whose practice would benefit from feedback, critique and encouragement; for those curious about creative action and the practice of sculpture.
How: A sense of play and the nurturing of creativity are key elements. The focus at studio works is to discover the balance between technical approaches and the deeper meanings and paths of your artistic practice.
Fees
Individual sessions are for 1 hour by appointment. Cost £50.00
Group sessions are one-day events beginning at 10 AM, usually on a Friday, including light lunch and refreshments. Cost £150.00
